What the . . . ?!?! Tuesday Edition

I'd like to think that I am a pretty creative person. Sure - in a pinch I'll resort to potty humor, bodily noises and jokes will illicit at least a chuckle or two from the room, especially if there are dudes present. However, my followers, I could not come up with this one myself. If I were to post this, most of you would call the looney bin (Put the phone down Steven).

I have to admit, today I was not quite sure what I would post about. It has been a busy day, and I have been taking care of client needs and trying to drum up new business. I got back to the home office, and on the front page of the cyberspace was an article entitled "Fish are now Sea Kittens". I thought "Huh? First Pluto's a planetoid and fish are sea kittens?"

Apparently our friends at PETA [People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals], are on yet another crusade. In order to have a new generation of people grow up thinking of fish as the same as cats or dogs. Now - obviously they are all animals. However, we eat fish. I do know some people who have eaten dog though. I'm not here on earth though to persuade folks to think one way or another regarding fish. I just think it's pretty ridiculous all together.

Here's a link to the story. You folks are old enough to think for yourselves.

What will PETA come up with next. They take things to some serious extremes at times.

What next?!

This reminds me of when my sister was little and my mother couldn't get her to eat tuna. All of us at the table had to call it "chicken of the sea" in order for her to eat it.

I hate to call you on this, but you need to get your facts straight, naytif bruder. PETA stands for "People for the Ethical Treatment of Appetizers".

Eric - I believe PETA's next stand will be the protection of the mosquito. After all, the mother of the larvae is only trying to sustain her offspring.

Willow - Your sister isn't Jessica Simpson is it?

Steve - Good catch, I almost believed what I read on the Cyberspace. Thanks for putting me back on track.
