Because This Is How We Do It Up North

Woot!

Pearl here, and welcome to Eskimo Bob’s blog. Bob’s not here right now. He’s out somewhere, doing something I’m sure. What that something is, we don’t know.

We can only speculate.

There were whisperings that he went to Anchorage to hang out in the public library, looking up swear words in the “big” dictionary.

There were also rumors that he’s finally taken his vaudeville act, “The Moose Runs Free at Midnight” on the road. (A show, by the way, that gets an NC-17 rating due to nudity. Nature lovers will particularly be interested in Act II, Wherein It Is Spring.)

These things, of course, may or may not be true.

But that’s not why we’re here.

Poor Bob is without the interwebs today, and he’s asked me to step in. And what could I say to him but “yes”? For cryin’ out loud, the man’s got pictures of me without a hat, coat, scarf, mittens, leggings, and mukluks.

I was practically naked.

Anyway, I’d like to wrap up this little Bob-Abuse Fest here with a thought.

You know that whole “if you love something, set it free” thing?

I’d like to propose that if you love something, you make it pie. Cherry pie. With that cool lattice-style crust on top.

A little vanilla ice cream, and what you got there is a nice little plate of love.

Yummy, yummy love.

Pie just doesn’t get the respect it deserves. We need to bring it back.

Minneapolis out, people. Have a great weekend!

Vanilla ice cream with homemade whipped cream topping!!! (I'm into apple pie tho) You are right if you love something. Knead it let it rise, alas melt butter over it.

Is Bob going to survive this euruption in Anchorage? Please keep the followers up to date.

All pies are fabulous! I believe you can really taste the love. There should be a law against baking when you're flat out pissed at someone though. We've all tasted anger in a cookie before...blech!

Good of you to stand in for EBob. I heard about that volcano. Prayers of safety for him.

I can make a killer cake, but I've always been a pie person.

I'm starving now, thanks to you.
