What?

Howdy folks.

Yes. It's me. I know I've been scarce for a bit - several of you have asked if I'm even going to be doing the blog anymore. Truth is, I'd love to and am planning on it, however I'm just swamped with work, family time and the radio program.

The last episode has been the most downloaded of the series - although was the lowest of the live listenership. So something is working - and something isn't working. No doubt the time shuffle has quite a bit to do with it - and I've convinced Tomas to keep the show on Sunday evenings at 4 PM AKST 8 PM EST and we'll make a decision regarding the time in three months.

I'd like some feedback regarding the show. What is working - what needs to be tweaked - and what you'd like to see.

I'm thinking of a couple of ideas - a segment which is called: Whatcher Doing? Wherein I would ask Whatcher Doing? Then take calls to find out what you folks are doing.

I'd also like to put together a radio karaoke and see what can happen with that.

So it's your turn to let me know what's on your mind.

When I finally got to "hear" the show, it just about took me to tears....Big Rock Candy Mountain was one of my dad's all time favorites and he used to sing and pick it out on his guitar when I was little....Very very odd that you would be "guided" to that song. I'm in awe, of the workings of the world itself.

I grew up in Scotland and our local radio station, when I was a kid, used to have a show where they did a sort of radio karaoke - people would call/write in and suggest the song they wanted to sing and they'd get to sing along with it over the phone. It was highly entertaining, especially the tone deaf participants! I can't remember if people used to vote a winner or anything, but I remember lots of pretty funny comments from the DJ. The best part of radio is the audience participation I think, especially if you have someone entertaining hosting it! :)

Hey, EB, I just listened to the historic fourth episode of Eskimo Bob Lives! Happy First Month Anniversary– the elohssanatahw interview was grand! With my “dial” set for tonight’s (Sunday, August 2nd) show, I have happily just gadgeted your blogtalkradio button into my sidebar. Isn’t fan mail wonderful?!

Gina - I think you could put in a lyric or two; of course that would require you to listen to the show. . .

@hole - I knew that had to be the song for your intro; there wasn't even another choice.

Carly - I'll pay you for your opinions; pay you in love.

V.A. - First off love your call-sign; Second - we're screwed because I'm the host! Whataworld whataworld!!!

Sparkle Farkle - You are wonderful and look foward to hearing from you on the show; I'd love to get inside of your mind. . . that sounds dirty.
